SouthernCross
Ambulance, Inc. (SCA) has been serving the citizens of central
and south Texas for over ten years - proudly providing exemplary
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Non-Emergent ambulance
transportation for the sick and injured. Since its early beginning,
SouthernCross Ambulance has been an innovative leader in the
ambulance transportation industry - taking great pride in its
ability to provide quality medical and transportation services
with compassion, care and understanding, while being economically
responsible to the citizens and communities served.
The SouthernCross Ambulance coverage area extends from the
southern most half of Travis County (in Central Texas) through
the Texas Hill Country continuing south along Interstate 37
to the Gulf Coast. (See adjacent map)
SCA's provision of services allows both emergent and non-emergent
ambulance transportation services to and from local and regional
medical centers. In select areas, SCA functions as the primary
EMS provider; responding to 911 requests - while in many of
its non-emergent transfer markets, SCA supports its local
EMS providers by serving as a "backup" resource.
